Printing & Technology at CWU Libraries

Check out the printing and technology resources available to you at CWU Libraries. We want to support you in your educational experience with access to printing, scanning, and computer borrowing services.

Print

Wēpa print kiosks are available on every floor of Brooks Library. To find additional campus kiosks, consult the Wēpa map, using CWU in the location field. The Wēpa printing guide will help you use CWU’s Wēpa print kiosks.

Pricing

CWU enrolled students will receive a $15 quarterly allocation that is only charged when the print job is released at the Wēpa printer kiosk.

  • $0.08 black & white, single-sided
  • $0.15 black & white, double-sided
  • $0.25 color, single-sided
  • $0.40 color, double-sided

Printing in the library is limited to letter size (8.5 x 11). For additional printing options, please visit CWU MadLab, located in the Wildcat Shop.

Scan

Scanners are available on the first and fourth floors of Brooks Library. You can email or save your scans to a USB drive. USB drives are available for checkout at the first floor service desk. Emailed scans will be sent from KicEmail@KICService.com.

Computers and Wifi

Desktop Computers

Windows desktop computers are available on the first, third, and fourth floors of Brooks Library. Mac desktop computers are available on the first floor of Brooks Library.

The Brooks Library first-floor computer lab is available when not in use for library instruction. Additional computer labs are available throughout campus.

CWU Information Services maintains a list of software available on campus computers.

Guest computers are available on the first floor of Brooks Library.

Laptops

Laptops are available to checkout to CWU students for four hours at the first floor service desk. Users are responsible for all costs associated with the loss, theft, or damage to the laptop and accessories. Please do not leave laptops unattended or loan them to another person. All personal files will be deleted upon return.

Students looking for long-term laptop checkouts should submit a ticket with CWU Information Services (IS). IS will review requests and offer suggestions as available. (Select "Request Service" then indicate you are requesting a long-term laptop.) The CWU Multimodal Education Center also offers a diverse lineup of multimedia equipment.

Wireless Access

The CWU-wildcats wireless network is available to CWU students, faculty, and staff. Consult the CWU Helpdesk wireless networking page for assistance setting up your device.

The CWU-public wireless network is available to visitors with personal devices.
